Are you headed to CMTS later this month? We're super excited to be headed to the show but while in town I always like to check out what events are happening in Toronto. I mean you've made the trip and all so why not take in a bit of fun.
Here are some of the events in Toronto that have made my short list. What are yours?
There's nothing better than sitting in the Rogers Center with the dome open on a sunny fall day with a beverage of choice in hand. They'll be playing the Yankees all during CMTS with the opening pitch at 7:07pm. Single game tickets are available here - note, Tuesday you can get a great deal on a hot dog!
If you're looking for some laughter, the Just for Laughs Toronto festival is happening from September 21-30 at various venues. You can find tickets and more information on StubHub.
I'm always a fan of live music and generally prefer the smaller venue experience. Rebel always comes through and this time it's with Macklemore's BEN Tour on September 26 at 6:30 pm. Tickets are around $150-$200 on Ticketmaster currently.
Okay, speaking of music, I'm really excited about this one. On September 28 at 6 pm, you can attend Canada's Rock of Fame induction event at Massey Hall. Presented by Canada's Walk of Fame the Rock of Fame celebrates some of Canada's leading artists. This year: April Wine, Glass Tiger, Light House, Chilliwack and even Trooper (I had the benefit of seeing them about 30 years ago - absolute legends!). Learn more about this legendary event here.
Be sure to take some time to have some fun while you're at CMTS! Let me know what great events you found and I'll add them to the list!
